«habitat in architectura» perceive itself as an analysis of zoological buildings and to catalog them in a typological way. The zoo architecture is explained and defined in this book using examples of selected enclosures.
The format and typesetting of the book are reminiscent of classical books from the late 19th century, the time in which zoological gardens arose.
The book splits into a theoretical part and a main part to the exemplarily selected enclosures.
Information about the enclosures are set inside the typesetting - outside the type area the information about the animals' claims to the zoo architecture are setted.
